Tools:
- liquid craft glue
- small paint brush
- xacto blade
- straight edge
- pointy object to score the fold lines, ( a metal drafting pencil works well too )
Carefully cut out each piece with the blade or scissors.
Score each dotted fold line using the straight edge and a pointed scoring tool ( or metal tipped drafting pencil works well )
Fold each piece along the scored edge lines. Fold dashed lines away from you and the dotted-dashed lines towards you.
Start by attaching left cab door to the front and roof piece.
Apply glue to the flaps using a small brush.
Hold the door piece in place until the glue sets.
Next glue the other door piece, make sure the flaps with the engine intakes on them are folded away from the cab doors.
Next attach the left engine piece to the cab by wrapping it around the engine intake flap.
Attached left engine piece from the front.
Do the same with the right engine.
Next, glue in the back piece to the engine on one side.
And then glue the other side.
Next, apply glue to the top flaps for the bed.
Push the bed piece down onto the rest of the truck body. Flip and hold the flaps in place from the underside until the glue sets.
It can be helpful to keep pressure on the flaps using something long and pointy like the handle of the glue brush.
Next apply glue the all the bottom flaps still exposed and place the final bottom piece. You may need to twist or bend the body of the truck a little bit if it became warped when the glue dried during the previous steps.
Finally attach the tail fins. Apply glue to the top of the engines and press and hold the fin on until the glue sets.
